Do Generator or Paramount Hotel require a security deposit?
Yes. A security deposit is required at check-in at our US locations. The amount and conditions vary by location:
- Paramount Hotel Times Square: A $1 security deposit is required at check-in.
- Generator Miami: $100 for private rooms and $50 for dorm beds.
- Generator Washington DC: $100 for private rooms and $50 for dorm beds.
Payment is by card only. After check-out, deposits are released automatically, but depending on your bank, it may take up to 7 business days for the funds to return to your account.
Our European locations do not require a security deposit at check-in.
