Development Projects Assistant

  • General administrative tasks (e.g., responding to consultants & contractors in a timely fashion, attend meetings, take minutes & chase actions)
  • Reviewing internal requests for capex (translating, analysis and initial queries)
  • Programme management of project + ensuring projects are on track
  • Cost management – reviewing costs and comparing to budget
  • Work with Legal, Finance and operations on a daily basis
  • Working on Microsoft office suite on a daily basis 
  • Travel to suit project / timelines 
  • Promote Generator brand
  • Carry out such other duties, appropriate to the company, as may be required from time to time
  • Represent Generator as a highly respected organisation by ensuring communication, presentation and appearance are always respectable 
  • Encourage a positive working environment.

  • Evidence of legal eligibility to work in the UK
  • A diligent mind-set with a key eye for detail 
  • Understand and apply the ethics of professional practice
  • Able to multi-task in order to handle competing priorities
  • Able to act as an ambassador for the company, protecting and promoting its good name and reputation at all times
  • Ability to use Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and Project to a good standard
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Able to work individually or part of a team
  • Genuine interest in growing as an individual and developing a skill set with the view to take on more responsibility with time
  • Good written and communication skills including fluent English
  • Good time management and organisational skills.


  • Experience in a comparable role is highly desired although not essential 
  • Experience of managing multiple projects.
