HR Intern


Generator is on a journey. Appropriate, given that we're a hostel accommodation brand. The journey began in London, swung through a heap of European capitals on its way to dominating the world. And now this top 50 most innovative global company (did we mention that?) wants a pretty awesome HR Intern for our Generator Head Office.

BEING YOURSELF is the key to bringing the Generator story and brand to life.  


  • Support the HR team with on-going projects of launching new HR systems in the US 

  • Involvement in the on-boarding process, including updating the HR systems and registering colleagues on our time-and-attendance system 

  • Manage the administration of all core touch points throughout the employee journey 

  • Support with the creation of our monthly Management Info report 

  • Work with the HR Manager on managing and updating our job descriptions on the recruitment platform 

  • Work with HR team on employee surveys and improving employee satisfaction   

  • Support recruitment from advertising on our various platforms, initial sifting, arranging initial interviews and reference checks 

  • Supporting the HR Manager in the planning of social activities  

  • Ad-hoc projects to support the HR Manager 

Naturally this is not intended as an exhaustive list of duties. Other duties as may be reasonably required will form part of this job description. 


  • Ability to juggle, prioritise and take ownership of a range of different tasks and projects 

  • Attention to detail  

  • Confident in Microsoft software including Word, Excel & PowerPoint 

  • Passion for the hospitality industry 

  • Must have the right to work in the UK already in place
