NUTS AND BOLTS OF THE JOB

  • Respond to user service requests, problem troubleshooting and resolution
  • Support PC hardware components, desktop operating system software, and application software
  • Support end-users as part of the business IT Service Desk
  • Perform minor repairs to equipment and arrange for other servicing needs
  • Identify and report system issues to vendors. Monitor and test resolution of those issues sent to vendors
  • Monitor antivirus software and updates and repair computers infected with spyware, adware and/or viruses
  • Manage user account lifecycle process (creation/amend/deletion)
  • Monitor backup systems and procedures to ensure data security
  • Record issues, activities, solutions and other responses to request for service
  • Assist in maintaining inventory records and documentation for equipment
  • Perform basic administrative support duties and documentation as required
  • Contribute to Generators technical documentation and participate in policy, procedure, and standards development and administration
  • Develop and provide user training for basic hardware and software use
  • Provide technical support for basic network troubleshooting and escalation to Infrastructure
  • Maintains open communication and positive working relationship with staff
  • Perform other duties/projects as assigned

  • Fluent in written and spoken English and one additional language would be desirable
  • You must be eligible to work in the UK to be considered for this role


YOUR ROCKSTAR EXPERIENCE

  • Experience of working in a similar capacity 
  • Hotel/Hospitality experience is desirable but not essential
