  • A strong understanding of P&L statements and the ability to react with impactful strategies
  • Closely monitor the hotels business reports on a daily basis and take decisions accordingly with the AGM
  • Ensure that monthly financial outlooks for Rooms, Food & Beverage, Admin & General, on target and accurate
  • Maximizing room yield and hotel revenue through innovative sales practices and yield management programs
  • Ensure full compliance to hotel operating controls, SOP’s, policies, procedures and service standards
  • Lead all key property issues including capital projects, customer service and refurbishment
  • Assist GM in preparation, presentation and subsequent achievement of the hotel's annual Operating Budget, Marketing & Sales Plan and Capital Budget
  • Manage on-going profitability of the hotel, ensuring revenue and guest satisfaction targets are met and exceeded
  • Ensure all decisions are made in the best interest of the hotels and management
  • Deliver hotel budget goals and set other short and long-term strategic goals for the property
  • Developing improvement actions, carry out costs savings
  • Handling complaints and oversee the service recovery procedures
  • Prepare a monthly financial reporting for the owners and stake holders
  • Exceed brand expectations and be an ambassador or the Company brand
  • Conduct regular meetings with management and staff
  • Build, lead and inspire a great team of people that get Generator and want to be themselves
  • Recruit for personality, creativity and passion
  • Know and respect your employees’ rights
  • Additional duties as assigned by management or ownership

  • At least 10 years of hotel experience, including at least two years of management experience, is required
  • Previous experience as an Operations and/or Rooms Divisions Manager is highly desirable
  • Degree in hospitality management, or a combination of school and experience
  • Possess strong commercial acumen, with experience in increasing profitability
  • Experience managing budgets, revenue proposals, and forecasting results in a similar sized property
  • Extensive knowledge of leisure, hotel and service sector
  • Pre-opening experience required
  • Extensive local market knowledge and experience
  • Excellent leadership and management skills
  • Hands-on experience
  • Available to work when needed, including weekends, holidays, and nights
