For 45 years Tapmarin has been a staple of Amsterdam bar culture. It’s pretty straightforward as a concept: lots of different beers, some karaoke and bar chatter. If it ain’t broke, as they say, why fix it? Every Saturday they host ‘Stapmarin’: a party night with DJs playing the classics, R&B, hip-hop and oldies. Before partying you can even have a delicious satay or some small bites. If you arrive and there's a party on, you even get your own beer tap – the Tapmarin Beer-altar – so you and your friends can get your own beers. It’s a blast, is what it is.
