The third edition of the sell-out Avant-garde electronic music festival, Lapsus, takes place tomorrow at the forever cool Centro de Cultura Contemporania de Barcelona (CCCB).

Lapsus is a long-established multidisciplinary art platform with a weekly radio show, record label and much-celebrated music festival. And it’s a short and sharp burst of a festival; boasting 12 hours of uninterrupted music beginning 12pm and ending at 12am.

Acts on the line up include the Indiana footworker Jlin, a former steel-plant worker turned producer and performer who is making a big splash in Europe with her strange, dark and frenzied house music. For those more jazzily inclined, Soul Jazz Records Sound System – hailing from the legendary London Sounds of the Universe records store – will be spinning an eclectic mix of funk, soul, reggae, latin, disco, boogie, hip hop, acid and jungle.

Last year’s event sold out just minutes after the event doors opened and a makeshift “sold out” sign had to be erected. This year the event has been expanded to three locations within the cultural centre, but the biggest crowd yet is forecast and advanced booking recommended.
