When you think of cities with gorgeous beaches, Stockholm probably isn’t the first one that springs to mind. Yet on warm days, locals flock to the seaside right in their city. Formed of 14 islands, the Swedish capital is surrounded by crystal clear waterways that make it a dreamy destination in the summer.

Tantolunden Park, located near the coolest shops and bars on Södermalm, is the perfect place to sunbathe and swim when the temperature rises. The large green space meets a sandy beach at the water’s edge and features some smooth wooden pontoons to lounge on if you aren’t a fan of sand.
