La Paradeta Gràcia

There are four branches of seafood canteen La Paradeta in Barcelona, so you’ll never be too far away from one. This is a great thing, as the food is cheap and couldn’t be fresher – pick it yourself upon entry from a market stall-esque ice counter and wait for a short time as it’s whisked away to the kitchen to be cooked to your liking. Once it’s ready, you collect your tray from a hatch and enjoy – preferably with a few bottles of ice cold Cava. The nearest one to Barcelona’s Generator hostel is just a few minutes’ walk away on Carrer del Torrent de l'Olla, 38.
