Brunch in the Park is taking over Barcelona's Sundays DISCOVER MORE: live music festivals barcelona Festival taking place most Sundays in a Park in Barcelona. With Primavera Sound now boasting more visitors than ever before (not to mention a headline set from Radiohead), Barcelona has confirmed its status as the best festival city around. The city’s modernist architecture – bejewelled with all those idiosyncratic Gaudi’s – provides some amazing spaces for music. In 2016, Brunch Electronik Festival was created and was taking place in Poble Espanyol – an architectural museum space designed for the 1929 Barcelona International Exposition – in the city centre. Rather than doing a standard day or weekend structure, they’ve decided to host the festival every Sunday. In the organiser’s words, it’s “an alternative to traditional Sundays with a versatile program featuring children’s activities, flea markets, vinyl fairs and the performances of the best national and international DJs.” In 2022, the Festival has been renamed, Brunch -in the City , Brunch -in the Park and Brunch -in Weekender. During this summer, they have booked a fantastic line up including: Carl Cox, Fat Boy Slim or Laurent Garnier. Tickets are available from 20 euros. Inspired to book a trip to Barcelona?
