When it comes to food, Barcelona has range. From Michelin-star fine-dining to moreish plates of tapas and everything in between, Barca can deliver.

Whet your appetite at La Boqueria market, where the stalls are packed with mouthwatering local produce. Stop for a bite of fresh fish, slurp down a few oysters or grab a portion of jamon iberico to go.

There are plenty of humble seaside restaurants where you can tuck into a paella, or line your stomach with patatas bravas, croquetas and pa amb tomaquet before a big night out.

As well as your typical Spanish fare, you’ll find hip brunch spots where you can wash your eggs benedict and avo-toast down with a glass of cava, plant-based eateries for the vegans and health-nuts, plus international restaurants serving delicious food from around the world.
