Distortion is One of Copenhagen's Most Unique Festivals

Taking over Denmark’s capital city from 4th - 8th June 2025, Distortion Festival features over 300 concerts and DJ sets. 

When the daytime street parties in Nørrebro and Vesterbro wrap up, the club scene takes over Copenhagen's hottest spots. Then on Friday and Saturday, Refshaleøen turns into Scandinavia's largest electronic music festival, Distortion Ø bringing together 300 concerts and DJ sets. 

More to the point, partying itself takes three different forms. There’s Distortion ø, which is a rave arena that lasts for two days in Refshaleøen in Copenhagen's Harbour; Distortion Club, which takes place in assorted nightclubs on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday; and the infamous Vesterbro Street Parties – which take place during the day and are free!  

Distortion also has one of the most discerning curatorial eyes of any electronic music festival.
