Curzon Bloomsbury

compressedbloosmbury-curzon-london

London is home to some of the world’s finest brutalism – that once-maligned architecture that’s become cool again – and the Brunswick Centre’s a good example (that’s within 3 minutes of the Generator hostel). It’s a striking sight next to the elegant old buildings of Russell Square, like something out of a ‘70s sci-fi. Inside you’ll find shops, restaurants, and the recently refurbished Bloomsbury Curzon. They tend to show new arthouse films and old stuff that you wouldn’t get the chance to see on screen anymore. Dive in here if it’s a bleak, rainy afternoon.
