Skansen was the world’s first open-air museum, found on the island of Djurgården. The museum features replicas of Swedish history and culture over time, and hosts a zoo of animals native to Scandinavia. The island boasts some of the best views of the city. Admission fees vary throughout the year, ranging from 100 SEK – 180 SEK. The best way to get to the island is by ferry from Slussen.
