The 19th Venice Architecture Biennale will have a pre-opening from the 8th of May to the 9th of May, officially opening doors to the public from Saturday 10th May to Sunday 23rd November 2025. In preparation for the exhibition for the spring ahead, the curator, Carlo Ratti, announced the theme, which is ‘Intelligens: Natural. Artificial. Collective’, ‘Intelligens’, translating to ‘intelligence’ in English. Carlo Ratti went on to explain that usually the title is announced in both English and Italian but have decided to condense the title into one word via Latin precedent for both languages to understand.

The exhibition is founded on four methodological pillars which are: transdisciplinary, living lab, space for ideas, and trans-disciplinarity protocol. Of course, the exhibition will be stem from architecture, but it will also integrate art, biology, social, and political sciences all linking back to the materiality of urban space. In spring, artists, designers, and craftspeople from around the globe will come together in Venice to showcase their work at the 19th edition of the Venice Biennale. As this is a large-scale international art exhibition, we really urge you not to miss it as it only takes place every couple of years.

During the time of the Venice Architecture Biennale, the MORE Festival will also take place for all your music, art, and party needs. It’s a four-day festival that has events that revolve around BBQ parties, sets, and parties with DJs all of which offer Venetian food.

There hasn't been an announcement yet for the dates of the MORE festival, but keep your eyes peeled on the website and Instagram for the latest updates regarding dates, line-ups, and tickets! It will be a time to remember for sure!
