There are many piazzas in Venice. But there's something pretty special about this one. American artist Ransom Ashley recommends modern culture and refreshing culinary delights in Venice.

"Venice is one of my favourite places in the world, the quiet alleys and exquisite architecture make it incredibly cosy and inviting. One of my favourite things to do there is grab an evening dessert in Piazza San Marco. The charming environment and live music create a relaxed atmosphere to wind down in after a full day of walking. Another favourite of mine is the Peggy Guggenheim Collection located on the Grand Canal. It's the modern cherry on top of the city's already magnificent display of art and culture."
