PÉTANQUE BAR & TERRACE
We’ve brought pétanque to Copenhagen. If you don’t play already, fret not; you’ll pick it up in no time. Originating in France, it’s all about trying to hit the jack with your boule. It’s really easy and lots of fun in groups. If pétanque isn't for you, head to the hostel bar – which features one of the biggest terraces in town – and indulge in a cocktail and some tasty snacks.
Happy Hour at the bar everyday from 16:00 to 17:00 and 21:00 to 22:00

Generator is an accommodation in Copenhagen’s city centre, putting you in the historic district of Indre – exactly where you need to be for an amazing getaway. We’re bordered on every side by unique landmarks, which are themselves surrounded by the various local shops, cafés, restaurants and performers that fill the streets.
As the renowned cultural centre of Denmark, Copenhagen is always abuzz with activity. From beautiful parks and promenades to waterfront properties and antique palaces, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. The moniker ‘City of Spires’ is well-earned by Copenhagen’s skyline; you’ll see architecture from the early 17th century right through to the modernist age here.
When you’re not caught up visiting landmarks like the Church of Our Saviour or the National Museum, there’s a further feast of local culture to enjoy. Whether you like your cuisine traditional, experimental or Michelin-starred, Copenhagen’s restaurants are known for their diversity.
The city’s got a thriving music scene too. Aside from popular venues like the Royal Arena and VEGA, Copenhagen’s annual festivals always draw in the crowds. Every year, more than 250,000 people attend the Copenhagen Jazz Festival; then there’s Roskilde Festival – one of the largest cultural events in Europe – that takes place in the neighbouring city of (you guessed it) Roskilde. Trains run frequently from Copenhagen to Roskilde, and the journey takes just over 20 minutes.
But believe us, we’re barely scratching the surface.
