The Winding Stair

windingstair

Once upon a time there was a beloved bookshop in Dublin called the Winding Stair. The place was so packed with paperbacks that it looked like the bookshelves were holding up the ceilings. When it closed, a restaurant moved into its place but kept the bookshop style alive. The restaurant champions seasonal Irish produce – that means scallops and ray from the Irish sea and lamb from just up the road in County Meath. And you can still buy books on the way out.
