Palæ Bar

Palæ Bar is also one of Copenhagen’s oldest bars, so it carries the same time-stands-still vibe as Bo-bi but… jazzier. The décor is an endearingly chaotic mix of actual trumpets and saxophones, posters of suave-looking musicians, and tons of plants (mind you, it’s a miracle these plants survive amidst the ever-present brutal clouds of smoke, but no matter). The crowd tends to be full of gentlemen you wish your grandfather looked and dressed like, and the Irish Coffees are delicious—which makes Palæ Bar definitely worth a try.
