Leo Burdock's Fish 'N' Chips


To order at Burdocks all you need to be able to say is the same number twice, “A one and one please.” One fish, one chip. This fish and chip shop in the Christchurch area has been open and operational, with just two small breaks because of either World War, since 1911. Bundled up in heavy paper, deep in vinegar, battered and cooked to perfection on a bed of chips that have been hand cut that morning. Watch out for hungry seagulls.
