Washington DC Happy Hours

Reading Time: 3 minutes

We decided to take a look at what Washington DC has to offer, beyond all the obvious political stuff. One thing quickly emerged as the US capital’s proudest attraction – Happy Hour.

You might initially be less than impressed by this questionable boast. Sure, Happy Hours are great - who doesn’t love a spot of cheap late afternoon drinking? - but there’s nothing particularly unusual about them. It doesn’t take long, however, to realise that DC does Happy Hours better than anywhere else. In DC Happy Hours stretch across entire afternoon and deep into the early evening. They also tend to go beyond a couple of quid off a pint by offering compelling cut-price deals on some seriously tasty grub. It turns out that the DC Happy Hour really is something to be proud of.

The great thing about the DC Happy Hour is that you’ll find it exists in some form pretty much everywhere. Nonetheless, some Happy Hours are better than others. We’ve done our best to pick out the best of the best.
